Angelic Atmosphere: An Angel Message

Yesterday, 11/28,  around 11:00 a.m. while carrying some items out to the garage, I got one of those angel taps to look up at the sky.

A cloud resembled a profile of an angel with large flowing wings, over the pasture next door.

When I turned around to face the sun, the blue sky was radiant, glowing with feathery rainbow clouds. Rainbow clouds so bright my eyes couldn't look directly at their spectacular beauty.  I ran for my camera; the battery was dead, and quickly replaced it, hoping the celestial phenomena would be waiting.  And it was.

With the camera aimed upward, I snapped away, unable to look at the glaring sun.  In that wonderful moment, it seemed like a glimpse of the bigger picture. A preview of what is yet to be. The atmosphere seemed filled with heavenly help.  A reminder that more is going on than meets our human understanding. A heavenly sign to keep having faith, the best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

We Deliver For You: An Angel Message

Did you ever wonder how you attract things into your awareness?  You buy a red Volkswagen-Bug, and suddenly you see them everywhere?

Years ago, in a government course, Investment in Excellence, I learned the key.  It's the work of a small part of the brain called the Reticular Activating System (R.A.S.)  The RAS works as a filter, allowing those things into your consciousness that mold your reality as you believe it to be, the special interests you currently entertain.

The R.A.S. directs your attention and brings things into your visual range according to your desires.

In 2017, when I took up a fun hobby of exchanging postcards around the world, mail trucks began to pop up wherever I went.  An uncanny postcard would catch my attention in a movie, and a trail of mail memorabilia crossed my path.  My RAS was fully charged to deliver my desires as postcards became a real focus.

On a spontaneous outing in town, yard sale signs led to a detour in search of postcards at an annual church yard sale. No postcards were there, but something better came my way, unexpectedly.   A wintry postal scene,  matted and framed, filled a longing for snowy winter weather, I miss out on in southern living.

I imagined standing in the stillness of quiet drifting snowflakes, gazing at those distant white-capped mountains, and felt such a peace in that moment.  The mail boxes, with a red flag up, and tongues hanging, hungry for mail reflected a touch of humor to a new postal passion.

Four years later, both sending and receiving postcards from around the world still fuels my desire. This year a rare sight appeared at the local gas station on World Postcard Day.  A roundup of US Mail trucks waiting in tandem to fuel up to deliver.

Whenever I see, "We deliver for you", my thought turns to God's angels; a loving and gentle reminder from our celestial messengers,We Deliver For You.  Don't lose faith.  The best is yet to be.

I'm so thankful for God's  angels who are constantly and selflessly ready to deliver and bless. Our thoughts are energy, (fuel) and where our attention goes, the energy flows, so why not think on the bright side.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Sunday Morning Glory: An Angel Message

This morning hungry birds were waiting by the lake, hoping for a breakfast of cracked corn.  The water- logged grass squished under my feet as I greeted the happy flock.  Muscovy ducks,  Papa and Mama sandhill crane, and mallards.  What joy to find the missing family of six juvenile ducks all present and accounted for since the storm.

As you can see, the ducky's bright orange beak, with its blue tip, added color to the day.  Ducks are symbolic of emotional healing.  To let our heavy emotions roll off our back, like water on a duck's back...just head for the water, and keep paddling along in peace.

The swollen lake mirrored the sky in the morning sunlight. Native Americans saw a lake as a smile of Great Spirit.  In the Zohar, water is a code word for light.  The lake is abundant with fresh clean water, a renewal of Spirit, a baptism of sorts.

From a distance, I watched a large crane swoop down from the sky, a bird of creation, and creativity. He stood high on the power-line, looking at the sunlit lake. A reminder that all real power comes from above.

As we sat by the lake, I was cloud-watching, when I looked up higher, a rainbow had appeared. A wonderful sign of God's promise.

I'm thankful for the angels that guide us in all of our ways.  I owe a debt of gratitude to the birds.  They get me out of the house, and feed my heart a dose of nature's beauty and peace to begin each day.  A chance to be spontaneous and expectant of the joyful things of God.

Have a peaceful day, and remember you have a guardian angel by your side.  The best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

After Nicole: An Angel Message

Before 6:00 a.m. this morning, Elliot took the trash can down the driveway for pick up. The sky was so beautiful, he invited me to step outside and take a look.  I slipped on my shoes and together we stood in the moonlight gazing up at the stars.  The balmy sky revealed a full moon shining over the still pasture.  Above the treetops, a rainbow circled the moon, enhancing her radiant glow.  I watched a veil of wispy clouds swiftly sail across her face, and fade away.  To her left, a tiny star shone bright in the night as if keeping the moon company. Playfully, I wondered if the moon had a guardian angel.

I was thankful for the glorious view of the bigger picture.  A welcomed contrast from the stormy, wind-filled skies of Nicole's fury yesterday.  Now, a stillness filled the morning air, as if washed with angels--something sacred and holy was happening before daybreak on 11/11.

Thank you for your prayers and spiritual support during our second major storm.  Please remember the people living on the East coast beaches in your prayers.  They took a big hit.

Yesterday morning we found comfort in reading the Nov. 10th message in God Calling for the day. The timing was perfect, and I share it with you to offer encouragement and strength during these times of trouble:

"REMEMBER that life's difficulties and troubles are not intended to arrest your progress, but to increase your speed.  You must call new forces, new powers into action.

Whatever it is must be surmounted, overcome.  Remember this.

It is as a race. Nothing must daunt you.  Do not let a difficulty conquer you. You must conquer it.

My strength will be there awaiting you. Bring all your thought, all your power, into action.  Nothing is too small to be faced and overcome.  To push small difficulties aside is to be preparing for big troubles. Rise to conquer.  It is the path of victory I would have you tread. There can be no failure with me."

Later this morning, while putting things in order after Nicole, I grabbed the large, heavy Psalm 91 statue tucked away in the garage to move it outdoors again.

To my surprise, a small gecko poked his head out from under the angel's wing.  Instead of scurrying away like in the past, he rode her wing to freedom. Fearlessly delivered by an angel, he was set free in the sunshine. I realized it was an angel message for me.  Over the last month, the wayward gecko wasn't willing to cooperate whenever a helping hand was offered to set him free.

Today was effortlessly different.

The symbolism brought a much needed smile. Psalm 91 helped me find peace in the storm. The angels given charge over us in Psalm 91 are real guardians. It is a powerful psalm of protection and guidance.

I recalled a lizard represents letting go of old fear, and also a symbol of dream-time.  With the help of our guardian angel, we, too, may find peace and freedom from fear, and find God's Love in the light of a new day.

Love and peace,

 Rae  Karen

An Angel Gong

Early this morning I heard a distinct clunk in the kitchen.  Something hit the floor, no doubt compliments of Hei-Hei, our playful tabby.  Later, I discovered it was an inspirational pebble as I picked it up and turned it over.  RELAX.   I smiled, grateful to start the day with a cue to relax and rest in God.

Later, I came across the word RELAX again in an old angel blog.

Our family had been relaxing on the porch when I reminded a worried loved one that the angels were with him, and to keep on having faith.  With all the challenges, he'd been facing, he really couldn't feel the angels around him, he told me.

Just then a distinct clank, like a gong, sounded.

An angel ornament hanging near the front door had somehow struck against the light fixture, giving it a CLANK. And, there was no wind!

As human nature so often doubts the validity of the angel message, we tried to recreate the tone, but of course we couldn't.

Things did lighten up though, and we enjoyed a good laugh at the timing.  Angels were no doubt delivering a message.  No one is ever alone.  The little plaque beside it was another confirmation:

Wherever you go,

whatever you do,

may an angel watch over you.

Whether we believe it or not, angels are always in our presence.  Sometimes they may appear in physical ways that make them more real, but often they embrace our thoughts with higher inspiration, taking us to a new level of grace and unconditional love.

Lately, whenever I find myself beginning to entertain a fearful thought, I remember that there are legions of angels surrounding me.  It's such a lovely visual, that a wonderful peacefulness settles over me.

The Psalmist wrote, "For he has given his angels charge over you to guide and protect you in all of your ways..."

A closer look at the RELAX pebble revealed the word RELAY beginning to form.   If life is a relay race, it's comforting to know that we can do our best, and then pass the baton to our guardian angel to assure victory.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Fun Childhood Memories: An Angel Message

Shivering at the County Farmers' Market on Wednesday morning, grey skies and blustery winds caused a chill in our sales as Elliot and I hurried from booth-to-booth to buy fresh vegetables. The 50-degree temperature brought back fond memories of brisk winters in Alaska. I realized how much I miss the seasons, and found the cold air invigorating, shaking me awake as I stopped to examine a mason jar, filled with colorful antique marbles.

Marbles played a big hand in my childhood. After our dental checkups, Mom treated my two younger brothers and me to a toy at the 5 & 10 store.  Marbles were always my favorite.  I loved looking at the clear glass colors of the purees or cat's eyes.  The opaque agates didn't spark my imagination as much.

Now whenever I see marbles, I smile, reminded of  simple childhood joys.  A signal to make time to have fun and play.

Several years ago, a holiday catalog sported a circular solitaire game of hand-blown glass marbles.  The large marbles resembled a host of planets circling the earth.  My childhood eyes glistened as I placed the order in time for Christmas.

Hei-Hei, our playful cat, knows intuitively not to rock the marbles on the glass coffee table.

This week another childhood toy took me by surprise.  A 1956 Captain Kangaroo show popped up on my youtube feed.  Just for fun, I curiously watched for a minute, as I'd been a fan many years ago.

What a surprise to see old furry Zippy getting a special intro from the Captain himself!

What were the chances?! I laughed.  I didn't remember  Zippy was on the show.  But there he was. Had he been my inspiration to ask Santa for the chimp that year?

Afterwards, I dug out my old lovable Zippy, tucked away in an old box in the closet.  The last remnant of a gift from Santa at age five.  Threadbare, with almost no fur, Zippy still has the little red heart I stitched on his chest as a child.

As you can see, he still exudes love and tender affection, the innocence and wonder of childhood.

I'm not sure why these old memories are coming to mind; perhaps a sign to trust and enjoy each day with the heart of a child.   The angels encourage us to be childlike and find joy in the simple things that come our way each day.   As the saying goes, it's never too late to have a second childhood.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

A Good Way to Start the Day: An Angel Message

I was reminded that in order to hear angel messages, it is important to pray to know that it is possible. BELIEVE.  Angels are God's thoughts of pure intuition always available to each of us when we tune in to receive.   They inspire, guide, comfort, and offer protection throughout our day.

While thinking about the angel blog, inspiration began to bubble up.

To my surprise, it took the shape of a mug, and an angel thought. When you reach for your morning coffee or tea cup, remember your guardian angel is right there waiting to serve you on this glorious day.

What a difference it would make to invite your angel.  This comforting thought brings a smile of gratitude knowing that we have angelic support as we begin our day.  We are not alone.  We are in good company.  Awareness of our angels brings harmony into our daily affairs. We find a divine order unfolding the events.  We are at the right place, at the right time, meeting up with the right people.

So why not start your day with a heavenly wake-up cup? It will give you a wonderful lift, and little miracles will occur beyond your imagination. Opportunities to both share and receive love, joy, peace, and harmony. It's worth a try...you won't be disappointed when done with a sincere and open heart. And, ineffable love will come pouring through each hour.

Enjoy your day with your angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Love Will Make a Way: An Angel Message

Thank you for your prayers and loving support for Florida during devastating Hurricane Ian.  Every prayer has power and makes a difference.

As the winds and heavy rain pounded, I found peace in knowing that we were not alone in the storm.  People were praying for us, and hosts of angels were standing by for protection and guidance as promised in  Psalm 91. If I could just keep my consciousness above the raging winds and heavy rain, and reside in the shelter of the Most High.  In the dark, I heard the intermittent song of a tree frog--quacking like a duck.  A reminder to Fully Rely On God, not for myself alone, but all life, the birds, animals, flowers and trees. There were moments of peace as I envisioned the many towering hardwood trees out back joined together underneath a canopy of divine love. And, prayed to know that each person's guardian angel was watching over them and keeping them safe in the storm.

In the daylight the next morning,  I watched the palm trees bend and sway, bowing down, surrendering to the wind.  A lesson for me to be flexible.  Palm trees symbolize victory.  The heavy rains created a mini lake in the backyard.  A lone sandhill crane paddled by like a duck, but soon the waters receded with no damage to the house. And, the tender sight of the sandhill family reunited in the pasture brought a tear of gratitude as the young "colts" had not yet earned their wings.

Later, a mourning dove flew in and nibbled on cracked corn by the bird feeder.   The voice of the dove is the rain song.  The song of the mourning dove reminds us that no matter what our life conditions, new waters and new life are still possible.

A wild buttercup had bloomed, and stood tall after the storm.  A yellow blossom, the color of faith. Endurance--doing our best to bloom where we're planted.  The timing was good because I discovered a mossy-covered black turtle stuck in the fence.  He needed a helping hand, a little push to get going again.  Something we all need to do for each other during these challenging times.

What a comfort to know that no matter what, we are always in the company of God's angels.  Love will make a way. Thank God.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Happy Autumn Solstice 2022

Welcome Archangel Michael, the Governor of Autumn.  His name means "Who Is Like God".

Today marks the Autumn Solstice, the beginning of a new season for growth.   A powerful time for shedding the old to prepare for the new, while also maintaining balance in the physical and the spiritual.  During this season, dreams will often reveal much about our values.

Autumn also brings a testing of the lower consciousness, regarding our judgment. When we pass these tests, there will be spiritual rewards.  During this time, we have access to spiritual guidance, especially through contact with nature, meditation, and prayer.

Archangel Michael offers his dynamic assistance to provide protection and balance.  With his mighty flaming sword, he will cut away, and purify what no longer serves you.

Archangel Michael is accessible to every seeker on the spiritual path.  The Archangel in charge of change, he brings the gift of patience.  Often known as the Dragon Slayer as well as the Prince of Light, he helps us to face our own personal dragons that we have pretended do not exist. The dragon is associated with our lower-self, our fears.  Archangel Michael will aid in transmuting shadows into the light of new beginnings.

With his help, this can be a beneficial season in which to take courage, and make new decisions that will lead to more freedom of expression for the highest good of all.

So remember to call for Archangel Michael's help in areas where you need more courage to face your fears. He assists in the great overcoming.

 Happy Autumn Solstice!

A Tiny Jewel in the Sun: An Angel Message

One thing leads to another, and, this morning was no exception.  Recent winds pruned the tall palms, and scattered their dead broom-like branches in the back yard. That's when I noticed the tiniest jewel. A little treefrog glistened in hues of green and gold atop my long forgotten Frangipani plant as it basked on a green leaf.

So taken by the little frog, I didn't notice the resurrection energy of this once barren plant.  Only a tall lifeless stick when I brought her here in 2020. I couldn't let it go. It had been a birthday gift from a good friend in 2016. Although we lost touch over the years, I tucked it out by the garage, and heard to just let it be.

I was glad I listened.  The Frangipani had rebounded in an abundant coat of green healthy leaves. Crowned by a tiny little tree frog, smaller than a dime, it was one of those angel lessons from nature that makes perfect sense. To F.R.O.G. it! Fully Rely On God.  A wonderful illustration that faith no bigger than a mustard seed can move mountains.

For fun, I looked up the symbolism of the Frangipani (plumeria) in Nature-Speak.  To have faith in yourself and in the higher forces of the universe and to aspire for more.

I glanced over at the nearby fountain pool, once the home of the tree frog.  It was teeming with little tadpoles who one day will grow and evolve to rest in their place in the sun.

Enjoy your day with the angels.   Remember you are never alone.  Invite your Guardian Angel to help you as you go about your day. You'll be glad you did.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

A Happy Brood: An Angel Message

What joy to see these happy little heartbeats at the lake this morning.  Nine fuzzy baby ducklings popped up out of the water to enjoy a breakfast of cracked corn with the flock.

Ducks represent emotional comfort and protection.  All ducks can swim and have a grace upon the water.  They teach how to maneuver through various waters of life. Ducks return to places where they feel safe and comfortable.   They have an ability to show affection and help us to move through emotional tangles by examining our feelings.

When I looked up at the sky, a rainbow prism glistened in a wispy cloud. It topped off the beautiful morning with an angelic touch.  I was thankful my guardian angel guided me to bring extra cracked corn. A flock of 14 ducks, and 9 little ducklings were glad I listened.

Enjoy your day with your angels, and remember you are never alone.  A powerful celestial companion is by your side waiting to lovingly commune with you throughout your daily affairs.  You won't regret the invitation to share the journey with him or her.  The ordinary will become extraordinary.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Ink Joy: An Angel Message

Yesterday I discovered Mom's old silver-and-blue Paper Mate pen (with 2 little hearts on it) was missing from its usual place in the sunflower cup on my desk.  This was her special pen she used to write notes to excuse me from school.  I looked everywhere for it, and then had to let it go.

This morning, I grabbed a fat, blue plastic pen out of the nightstand drawer to write in my journal.  As the pen moved across the empty page, the logo InkJoy caught my eyes along with the two little hearts that separated Paper Mate.  Mom's love was still coming through!  It was one of those AHA! angel moments.  The writing instrument isn't important as long as you fill up the blank page in your Book of Life today with joy ink.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen
