This morning I woke up feeling sad, missing a close family member who has estranged himself from me, ghosting me...for some reason. As I sat on the edge of the bed wondering why, I sleepily gazed out on the lawn. Suddenly my attention was drawn to a tiny fish symbol on the wall. Below the windowsill, the string from the shades formed a Christ fish, creating a silhouette of the fish on the wall. I laughed, at the detail, really--? I'd never seen it before. But the timing was a perfect angel message. A fresh view to look out on the world with the eyes of Christ and see only love for that is all there really is. The Holy Spirit and the angels are here to help for we cannot do it alone.
The fish symbol brought back memories of January 2020 when a large Christ fish mysteriously appeared etched in light on our driveway. We never did figure out how it happened, but with God all things are possible. A promising sign to trust in the Light of the World to make a way during the dark times that were yet to come.
Relationships come and go, like a dance in the different seasons of life, but one thing forever remains a constant--the Love that delivered them never leaves... and always presents an opportunity to teach only love for that is what we truly are.
