Yesterday afternoon, I caught a glimpse of the mama deer and her young fawn run by the sun-room window, hightailing it around the corner of the house. Poetry in motion. With my camera, I ran to my office. The sweet innocent pair had paused by the swing-set, and stood still in the sunlight, pondering where to go next. Thankfully I stood quietly on the loveseat, above the window screen, to marvel at the view. An appearance that radiates great harmony. The behavior of the deer is always resolutely and reflectively. It has the masculine vigor and strength with feminine gentleness and care.
A review of the symbolism of the deer was helpful. "If you encounter a deer, it wants to advise you to approach your life with precision but without pursuing rigid goals. Turn over the guidance of your life exclusively to your higher self and follow its impulses with a great deal of dynamic energy. There are certain times for certain steps in your life."
"Open yourself to the universe; let the impulses from above into yourself and transfer them into your life. Thus you will keep control of your strength. You are no longer controlled from the outside, and the gifts of the universe will be able to manifest in your life." (Animal Messengers, Regula Meyer)
Inner guidance is the best way to go now and always. God has given his angels charge over us when we graciously open up and gratefully acknowledge the wonderful gift. Listen and pay attention to the angel messages that come to you. Easter is a powerful time of resurrection and new life. Out of the darkness into the Light!
Love and peace,
